Marvel Rivals Boldly Introduces its New Lady Loki Costume
While some may dismiss Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, creator NetEase earns credit for finding creative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty audience. Introducing Lady Loki, a completely new outfit for the current Strategist hero Loki, offering players a comics-accurate depiction of the Asgardian trickster god(dess).
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Despite some predictions and fears, the highly anticipated Lady Loki costume is definitely not a skin for Hela. Rather, it is a complete visual overhaul of Loki himself, complete with new voiceover work. Based on the official preview, Lady Loki keeps the full suite of Loki's signature abilities: his projectile attack, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The only change is her new appearance, designed to captivate an audience more than ready to spend their Lattice.
A Look and Sound in Action
Below is a look at Lady Loki in action, along with a sample of her new voiceover, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott also voices Magik in Marvel Rivals.
The character's dialogue and visual flair add a new energy to the well-known kit.
Opening the Door to Possibilities
With NetEase has opened the door with this gender-swapped skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is already speculating about similar swaps. Fan suggestions currently range from:
- The character Gwenpool as the forthcoming Deadpool.
- Jane Foster as the God of Thunder.
- Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman.
The big question is: Does NetEase have the courage to introduce less mainstream variants, such as one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably depend on fan demand!

The Lady Loki skin will be available in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
